Expert kid’s views on cruises from 3ft.
It wouldn’t be right to talk about family aspects of cruising without having another view on the matter. My guest contributor is Toby, also known as Mini Anchor Man.
Toby arrived in 2012, and changed my priorities around cruising, possibly forever. He joined us on his first cruise in 2013, and has since notched up five voyages across 4 ships.
He says his favourite ship is MSC Splendida because of ‘the cabin and the Lego man’. He says his chosen food onboard is ‘scrambled egg, bread, or mushrooms’.
He also says his favourite things to do are to ‘go to the swimming pool, go back to our cabin, get changed and go for lunch’.
As the seasoned cruiser he is, he likes to show his younger brother Stanley the ropes of shipboard life. Stanley took his first trip at four months old.
Toby also doesn’t go very far without Karla – who is not just a stuffed Koala, but his travelling companion, confident, and best friend.
